To Brattleboro Swim Team (BST) families – swimmers, parents, guardians, and other family members,

On behalf of the Board of BST, we are delighted to announce that our new Summer Swim Season will start with our first practice on Monday, June 27. A pizza party will be held at the Kiwanis shelter that night at 6 pm. The season will run until Monday, August 8 with our closing banquet at the Kiwanis shelter from 6-8 pm. The main practice times will be from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Living Memorial Park Pool in Brattleboro. Younger (newer) swimmers will practice from 4-5 pm, and older (seasoned) swimmers will practice from 5-6 pm. Swim meets will mainly be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Sprints will be on Saturday, July 9 in Rutland. The important SVSL District Championships are tentatively scheduled for July 30 in Rutland. Our final meet of the season is the Vermont State Championships scheduled for the weekend of August 6–7 at UVAC in White River Junction.

Pedr Seymour will again be the head coach this summer. Pedr is an extraordinary teacher of young swimmers and emerging coaches. He will be overseeing a strong group of volunteer coaches during the 4-5 practices at the Brattleboro pool.

The 2022 Registration Form is now available on brattleboro.swimtopia.com. Swim fees are $225.00 for Brattleboro residents and $240.00 for non-residents. Family rate is $650 maximum. There is a $10 discount for each additional child per family and financial aid is available.

For qualified swimmers who would like more practice time, two additional practice sites will be available this year. For an additional $125, these optional practices are available after registration.
