Hey all, some fundraising updates from the board. We want to first off give a huge thank you to Sara Donahue and all who contributed to the bake sale - she was able to raise over $1300 for the swim team! This helps cover meet fees and scholarships. 

With that in mind we are happy to say that BST will be covering meet fees ($10/$15 per swimmer) for the Rutland Sprints, SVSL’s next weekend, and States. However, if you have the means to cover the costs and want to donate their meet fees you can do so via the donation page on our website. Additionally, we do still pay if you scratch (don’t show up), so going forward please please be considerate of that as you sign up for those two remaining big meets. We had a lot of no shows in Rutland that we still had to pay for. 

The swimathon is going to be our big (and last!) fundraising push - it is next Thursday and swimmers can ask folks to donate a certain amount per lap they swim. It should be a great event and a fun way to raise some money while swimming! All the information can be found on our website here. So please help your swimmers finagle some pledges from families and friends. It doubles as a nice way of advertising BST in the community, so spread the word! THANK YOU!
